A trip to Vancouver, Canada

Writer's picture: Soph SjöströmSoph Sjöström

I've finally gotten access to some of the film that Jamie shot from our time in Vancouver (I lost my camera battery over the duration of the trip, trust) and so I thought I'd upload it for you guys to see! A lot of it is just our adventures around the city, as well as the Granville Island public market which was absolutely stunning and the Capilano Suspension Bridge + the aquarium. Enjoy!

Granville Island

Here we visited the farmers' market which I'm always a sucker for and bought some huge slices of pizza which the frighteningly large seagulls always had their eyes on. I bought a set of ceramic coffee mugs that look like they're made out of birch wood as well as a cookie cutter shaped like a maple leaf.

Aquarium

We have a singular photo of the monstrous Californian Sea Lion at the aquarium.

Capilano Suspension Bridge

This was beautiful - a network of treetop, forest floor and cliff walks in a nature park.

I was really sad to leave Jamie behind again, but university starts up again next week and his spring break came to an end. This is my last year of undergraduate study and so I'm expecting it to be intense and really busy. This'll keep me well occupied until Jamie comes home finally in late May, and our 10 month long-distance extravaganza will be done! I'm very excited, needless to say.
