Heya! It's been a while since I posted last. I've been back home in Melbourne for about a month now. For the past week however, I've been in Bali with my family. We spent a few days in Sanur and then Legian, including an unplanned extra night thanks to Jetstar's incompetence and the cancellation of last night's flight. We're currently waiting at our gate in Denpasar Airport for our 11:15 am flight back home.
While we were in Sanur, Marcus, James and I went on a day-long snorkelling trip around the island of Nusa Penida. I've never seen such amazing coral and such abundant diversity of tropical fish and it was a great experience. We also saw some coral restoration projects along the coast to rehabilitate coral affected by bleaching (thought to be created by rising ocean temperatures) and physical destruction by the anchors of local boats. We brought a GoPro with us and so ended up taking a lot of great pictures. Enjoy!
