This is our last full day in London as tomorrow we leave for Venice. Continuing in the usual touristy fashion, we decided to head to the London Eye and take a river cruise down the Thames. We saw some absolutely fantastics views, captured by Jamie.
The river cruise also had some great views of Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, where the crown jewels are kept.
After having lunch at Five Guys (I've never eaten there before) we saw the Admiralty Arch and walked to Trafalgar Square, visiting the works of Monet and Van Gogh in the National Gallery.
We were really tired after today, and the amount of walking may have taken a toll on both of us. We had a late dinner at 9pm, dining at Vanilla Black, a "modern restaurant serving gourmet vegetarian dishes in an Art Deco-inspired dining room," which was fantastic. As I mentioned, early tomorrow morning we leave for Venice and I will keep you all updated!
