This is the product of five days of Danish language classes at KU. The classes are from 9 - 12:30 every weekday at the South Campus in Amager. Although it doesn't seem like much, the hardest part of Danish is the pronunciation, which probably easily takes up about half of our time, hence the limited vocabulary - you can't really learn a word if you can't pronounce it properly. I've made quite a few friends in my class, which is taught very similarly to high school classes - a small group of students, one teacher and a chalkboard. The campus itself is quite new, and therefore incredibly modern. We've also learnt to abuse the canteen as it has some of the cheapest food available to students in the city. So that's mostly what I've been doing for the past week. Other activities of note is my visit to Rosenborg Castle to see the crown jewels in the treasury, and seeing a København vs. Lyngby football match at Telia Parken.
Rosenborg Castle

The castle was originally built as a country summerhouse in 1606 and is an example of Christian IV's many architectural projects.
One thing I can deduce from visiting this is that Danish royalty love excessive displays of wealth. Where there can be pattern or gold plated features, there is. The whole building was really worth the visit and I recommend going there if you're in Copenhagen at any time. The castle is surrounded by a moat with some of the fattest carp I've ever seen, which wait under the bridge to be fed by visitors.
The castle is situated in the middle of a beautiful park, full of people enjoying picnics.

Football game at Telia Parken
Before this game I had never been to a live professional sports match that I can really remember. It was brilliant, and I can tell that København F.C has a very passionate set of supporters. With a club scarf in hand, we went in and supported the game like we were locals. So much fun! København is at the top ranked team in the country at the moment, whereas Lyngby was 4th or 5th from memory. They put up a really good fight, but København ended up winning 2-0, with Jonas Wind scoring both goals. I've made it a little mission to become more familiar with the players on the home team as I'm planning on watching a few more games.

That's all for now - I have classes for two more weeks, then a written and oral exam. After this, my actual semester for exchange starts. And yes Nana, I clearly am alive - a lack of content however makes it sometimes hard to post frequently. I'll try make my days more interesting for the sake of you all.
Hej hej!
